With Easter just around the corner, we decided that instead of breaking out our pastels and coloring Easter Eggs, we would share with you what we believe will be some of the hottest videogames in the Spring. Who knows, maybe next to the gigantic chocolate bunny in your Easter basket, you will get one of these videogames (assuming your parents really like to spoil you on Easter). Operation Raccoon City takes players into unfamiliar territory, as it is being billed as a non-canonical game. What does this mean to players exactly? This game has a far greater emphasis on multiplayer. In fact, players will be divided into two sides - the U.S.S. and the SPECOPS - and each side will be working their way through six separate missions. Probably most interesting is the introduction of the "Nemesis Mode" which will allow players to control the Nemesis in a standard deathmatch multiplayer game.

The much anticipated third game in the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy once again sees you take on the role of Ryu Hayabusa. However, this time he will be a little more personal and humane as you will explore the effects that his past killings have had on him. Karma is the guidance force in this game.

One of gaming's classic series makes it's return on the Nintendo 3DS. A newly 3d-ized version of Pit which take on a newly revived Medusa who is using her Underworld Army to wreak chaos on Angel Land. This game is a direct sequel to the original Kid Icarus, and also promises to introduce many new characters.

Let's be honest here, if you've seen a Star Wars movie at any point of your life you've probably had an intense desire to have a lightsaber dual of your own. Sure, stores have been releasing versions of lightsaber toys for years, but finally you can get the same experience digitally.

PC gamers have already gotten to experience the thrills of Geralt's adventures, however, due to the popularity of the game it is being ported over to the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 version features new modes including a Dark Mode and an Arena Mode. It also features all of the game's previous DLC, new locations, characters, and over four new hours of gameplay.

The ever popular Playstation 3 release is being brought over to the Portable side with this re-released on the PS Vita. Players can now work their way through the Academy of Evil while on their way to practically anywhere. The Vita version contains 2 brand new characters not seen in other Disgaea games, 4 new scenarios, updated character portraits and Tera level magic. The Vita version also has all of the Playstation 3 version's DLC bundled in.

Alex Mercer is back and his adventure takes place in New York Zero, formerly known as New York. Sgt. James Heller is looking to get revenge on Mercer after losing everything that he had loved. The fluidity of movement and the environments have been greatly improved. In this sequel, you will be wrecking environments at allnew extreme levels.

If you didn't get your fill of fatalities from last year's release on Playstation or Xbox 360, you will be able to now perform fatalities on the go with this port on the PS Vita. New features of this version include - new costumes, new challenges, and new fatalities.

MMORPG fans are in luck, as finally TERA will be making it's North American debut this spring. TERA takes players in the world of Arborea. The world of Arborea is filled with many strange creatures and races. One of the most interesting aspects of this game is the Nexus System. The Nexus is a randomly occuring event that anyone can join in to participate. Those who join in are rewarded with rare and exclusive items that aren't found anywhere else.

This third-person shooter is the spiritual successor the popular game Warhawk. Players are given control of Emmett Graves, whose farm gets attacked by the Outcast war party. This leads to a tragic accident where an explosion turns him and his brother into mutants known as Outcasts.

A lot has been made of how this game takes place in a sunnier location (Brazil), how Max Payne is now bald, and how this game has changed completely compared to the other feel of previous games. However, Rockstar has mentioned that they are confident that they can maintain the style and feel of the series by bringing it to a new and innovative environment. |

If Skyrim proved anything, it's that people love dragons in their video games. It turns out that the story of Dragon's Dogma begins similarly where a dragon attacks the village and captures the attention of the protagonist. What is unique in this game is that players will be allowed to grab onto their enemies while attacking, which will allow them to target different parts of the body for more vicious attacks.

Fighting in this game will have you traveling through Norway, the Middle East, and Asia. You are the Ghosts and are trying to defeat a team of ultranationalists who have invaded Russia and other countries. A new feature in the series is the "optical camouflage", a form of active camouflage which allows the Ghosts to become harder to see.

The sequel to Piranha Byte's 2009 hit, Risen, takes place a few years after the events of the first game. The world has once again been destroyed by titans and the world is in complete chaos. The protagonist has joined up with a group known as the Inquistion in an attempt to find out what is beyond this chaos and restore peace to the land.

Players take control of Tom Riley, in the year 1951, as the Chimera begin to invade the United States. Riley is tasked with helping both local civilians throughout the day and fighting the Chimera. A big difference in this game from previous games, is that it is a first-person game. Players can pick up weapons that they are looking at on the screen by passing their hand underneath the camera on the outside of the Vita just as if they were picking up the weapon in real life

You may not know it yet, but Juliet Starling is your girlfriend. That is if she can get over her boyfriend Nick (who luckily is just a decapitated head). In this game, a zombie outbreak takes place at the San Romero High School and it is up to Juliet and her chainsaw to get rid of the zombies.

In this upcoming MMORPG from Funcom, an original setting will be created, with contemporary elements as well as "magic, myths, conspiracies and dark horrors." The game's tagline is "Dark Days Are Coming" - who knows what mystery is in store.
